2D: Lines (Breadth 6)
Must
Haves:
-Grid
of 9 Small square compositions (5” square each) or 1 LARGE (at least 12
x 18) detailed
composition. Photo people –3 grid compositions OR 24 individual
images.
-Choose
a
detailed object/environment (either man-made/like a computer part or organic
like a pinecone) that has a lot of lines. Zoom in/draw/photograph. Try to
represent a variety of lines (smooth, sketchy, rough, etc.)
-Black
and white media – marker, paint, or ink. (Photo – strong contrast)
-Use
a viewfinder/ the rule of thirds. NOTHING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAGE.
-DUE:

x 18 drawing in either pencil (but dark! 6B +), pastel,
pen, marker, ink, or colored pencil.
-Keys/stuff
in your pocket still life. (what is in there now)
-Dynamic
set up (using the rule of thirds). NO KEYS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAGE!
